We lucked out this past weekend and got a site at the Spruces campground up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Although we got there late, it was super fun and Astrid loved every minute of it. Thomas only woke up once and fell asleep nursing. Next weekend: more camping fun with cousins and VW grandparents.

In the morning we found a little squirrel dying in the middle of the road (it hadn't been run over; we're not sure why it was dying), so we moved it to the side and Astrid hung out with it a bit and gave it pinecones.

YAY!! Glad you finally made it up there :) Astrid looks like she is in heaven...We will miss being with you guys this weekend...have lots of fun for us!
We miss you guys! This looks like so much fun. We have to find a way to come out and go camping with you guys sometime.
